At the Alberta Association of Career Colleges (AACC), we’re not just adapting to change; we’re designing a new playing field.

Inspired by Blue Ocean Strategy, we’re not entering the race, we’re redrawing the map. AACC is shaping a space where member colleges are aligned by shared standards, trusted by students, and recognized as leaders in Alberta’s workforce future.

Our Build Strategy is the engine behind this transformation:

We’re raising the standard for membership through common member training, ethical practices, student-first policies, and transparent accountability. Students, regulators, and employers will increasingly see the AACC seal as a trusted mark of excellence.

🔹 Build Capacity
From shared training resources to professional development and strategic guidance, we’re helping colleges grow, not just individually, but as a stronger, unified sector.

🔹 Build Community
AACC is cultivating deeper partnerships with government, industry, and communities, ensuring our colleges are seen as critical players in Alberta’s talent pipeline and economic future.

Over time, students will seek out AACC member colleges the way they look for CSA, COR, or LEED certification, as a sign of integrity, quality, and future readiness.

This is more than a membership organization. It’s a sector-wide movement to build something better, for students, for Alberta, and the future of skills-based education.
